Dear Supervisors:
The Stanford Foothills are a natural treasure that must be preserved. As urban sprawl covers the fertile soils of Santa Clara County, our remaining open spaces have become increasingly more valuable as wildlife habitat and places to escape the hustle and bustle of Silicon Valley. By planning wisely, Stanford can meet its current and future needs for housing and academic facilities within the existing core campus. I strongly encourage you to do everything in your power to ensure the Stanford Foothills are protected in perpetuity.
